Performance Management

Performance Management can be defined as an enterprise-wide management program that provides a structured approach for aligning business, organizational, and individual performance. It provides a solid foundation for aligning HR Processes with business performance.

We help organizations to develop and implement a program that incorporates the following steps:

  • Creation of a strategy articulation map that links support function priorities to critical strategic objectives.
  • Identify the core competencies that drive strategic performance in all functions.
  • Develop a competency framework that supports a consistent and objective selection and evaluation process for all employees.
  • Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) that link collective business performance to individual objectives and results. KPIs must be: linked to strategy, controllable, actionable, credible and measurable.
  • Develop performance plans to enable the organization and individuals to reach the KPI targets. Performance plans help prioritize existing and future initiatives (e.g. implementation of technology, utilization of resources and alignment of business processes) and drive the budget process.
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate performance results. Encourage the desired behavior to achieve performance results through establishing of responsibility and accountability, while providing coaching and rewards.
